Every one of these tests is a door to something.

A passing score on the ASVAB decides which jobs the military will train you for. A Part 107 certificate is the difference between flying a drone as a hobby and being paid to. These are not tests people sit for fun. They sit them because something they want is on the other side.

Practice Test App exists to get people through them. Every question is written against the exam's published blueprint and reviewed for accuracy, then weighted so your practice matches the test you will actually sit rather than a rough approximation of it. When you get something wrong, the app explains why, and brings it back later, when you are close to forgetting it.

The apps are built to be studied on a phone in the gaps of a real life: a lunch break, a bus, the twenty minutes before bed. That is why the whole question bank ships inside the app instead of streaming from a server. No signal, no account, no sign-up wall between you and the material you already paid for.

It is a small operation, which is the point rather than an apology. There is no support call centre, because the person answering the support form is the person who wrote the code. Bug reports tend to get fixed rather than filed.

The privacy position is not a marketing angle bolted on afterwards. There is no analytics SDK, no crash reporter and no advertising code in these apps, which is why the App Store listing can say Data Not Collected. The one thing that sends anything about your studying is the optional AI explanation, and the privacy policy describes exactly what it sends.
